Viz Pictures and Zenkaikon are teaming up to bring you free Tickets to the Death Note 2: The Last Name Live Action Movie Event on October 16th, 2008 in Philadelphia Area!
We are giving away 4 pairs of tickets and 2 individual tickets for the October 16th showing to folks who preregister online for a 2 day pass to Zenkaikon by September 15, 2008! Attendees who have preregistered before this announcement are also eligible. 4 lucky winners plus two more will be randomly drawn on September 15, so remember to include your mailing address with your preregistration payment!

DEATH NOTE II: THE LAST NAME (English dubbed) is the sequel to, and an immediate continuation of, DEATH NOTE, brought to U.S. movie theaters earlier this year by VIZ Pictures and Fathom. This exclusive event will feature an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the creation of DEATH NOTE II: THE LAST NAME, an in-depth interview with Director Shusuke Kaneko and a unique look at the talent behind the characters.
Please note: This event is not officially rated but should be treated as equivalent to an "R" rating.
About Zenkaikon:
Zenkaikon was formed by the merge of the anime and science fiction
convention Zentrancon, and the anime convention, Kosaikon, both in the
Philadelphia area. In 2006 they put on their first event which was a
tremendous success. Zenkaikon will return to the Valley Forge
Scanticon Hotel and Conference Center for its third installment on
October 17 to 18, 2008. The con will begin on the evening of Friday,
October 17 with concerts, a Cosplay Ball, gaming and other special
events. A full day of convention programming will follow on Saturday,
October 18 with video screenings, concerts, gaming, a cosplay
masquerade, "Whose Line Is It Anime?", "The Cosplay Dating Game", and
much more!
